Loose Organic Carbon
Composts and Soil Conditioners
Loose organic carbon is the product of the manipulated decomposition of organic materials by microorganisms for the production of a humus-like end product termed compost. Composting is used to stabilize waste by-products to improve their handling, health and biological characteristics and to generate soil amendments that improve soil physical, chemical and biological properties.
